What We
Believe
The Abilities Church
The Abilities church believes in all the moral and doctrinal essentials of the Christian Faith.  We believe in having unity on the essentials, liberty on the non-essentials and showing Christian charity in all things.  Our practice and policy is to agree to disagree when it comes to secondary issues of conscience. We also believe in disagreeing respectfully with people or groups who do not hold to our believes and values.

Our Primary Mission

   1. Preaching the gospel to people with our Lord's compassion

No one denomination or church group has a corner on the truth or a monopoly on the church (There is only one faith, one baptism and one Lord).  The church is a mixture of human persuasions (the non-essentials)  and divine truth (the essentials).  We must have unity on the essentials, liberty on the non-essentials and Christian charity in all things.  We can disagree and debate but should never divide within the frame work of the essentials of the Christian Faith.  The essentials of the Christian faith are what identify us as Chrisitans and the Christian Church.
