Abilities In Christ is giving people with visible disabilities an equal opportunity to minister within the church and community.
Robert Gagnon was born with cerebral Palsy. He views his disability as a gift from God and uses it to speak God’s power, purpose and praise into people’s lives. Through his story, life and message Robert is inspiring people to realize that anything is possible with God regardless of our level of ability, social status, sickness, problems or challenges.

Robert Graduated from Redeemer College and Tyndale University with a Masters Degree. Before launching his Evangelistic ministry Robert served as the Senior Pastor of the Abilities Church in Toronto. He has spoken at several large venues including the Centre Street Church in Calgary Alberta, Tyndale University and Kingdom Bound. Robert has been featured 3 times on 100 Huntley Street and in Christian Week and Charisma Magazine.

The least among us are the greatest in God’s Kingdom
The early Christian church believed that when they received people with disabilities- that they were literally accepting Jesus into their presence and if they rejected them that they were literally rejecting Christ himself. They based this belief and practise on Luke 9:48 "Whoever receives (welcomes or gives honour to) any such little child in my name also receives me….for he who is least among you all- he is also the greatest in my Kingdom”. People with developmental disabilities were regarded as child-like in their thinking and faith. The early church also believed that people with disabilities were to be given first place in the church and not last, based on Luke 9:48. Join us in following the example of Jesus and the early church in giving people with disabilities a priority in the church today.
