Community Recognition Awards
ACM will be recognizing several people and groups or organizations for their outstanding contributions towards our community every year. We believe there are many unsung heroes that need to be acknowledged for their vision, work and passion in making a difference in our community and world. You can nominate a candidate to receive an award or honorary diploma for their outstanding contributions towards our society.

Ministry Volunteer
Nominate someone you know who has demonstrated an outstanding commitment to volunteering at a church or Christian ministry
Pastor of the year
Does your pastor deserve to be nominated for his dedication to your local congregation and community. We are looking for a pastor who has displayed an ability to bring unity to his local assembly along with the whole Body of Christ. I pastor who leads by serving his flock and community through a spirit of humility, love and grace.
Sunday school teacher of the year
Is there a Sunday school teacher who needs to be recognized for going above the call of duty to share the love of Jesus with her students and community.
Worship Leader of the year
We want to recognize a worship leader/pastor who has shown creativity, spontaneity and a willingness to take worship beyond the performance level which exist in most churches. We are looking for a worship leader/pastor that has the ability to take people into the very presence of God through music and songs that transcend the stereotypical kind of worship service. Most of all we are looking for a worship leader that is being lead by the spirit of God and not by a performance based kind of worship.
Believer of the year
Do you know a Christian who you and others see Jesus in. Someone who serves others with humility and love and who puts the needs of others before his or her own. We are looking for a Christian whose faith is heart felt within the church and community.

Services to Charity
Has someone you known dedicated themselves tirelessly to a charity? they may be someone who has raised a large amount of money, generated awareness for a cause or has been a selfless voluntary worker for a number of years. This award is open to groups or individuals.
Community Project of the Year
Someone you know may have worked on a specific project that has made a real difference to your community. They may have worked with people of a different generation, painted a community centre or cleared a local green space?
Arts Award
We are looking for those talented groups or performers who demonstrate what a creative, artistic place Toronto is. This award is open to groups or individuals.
Community Event Award
This is your chance to shout about your favorite Toronto event of the year! It may be a festival, a parade or even an event linked with folklore.
Teacher of the Year Award
The teachers of Toronto play a vital role in shaping our children's futures. We are looking for a teacher who has shown constant dedication, kindness, and understanding - or someone who continues to inspire young people everyday. Everyone has a memorable teacher, so nominate yours for this award.
Young Personality of the Year (Under 18)
Do you know a special person who you think deserves to be recognized? If you have a friend or family member who has shown bravery and courage through sickness, carried out an heroic act,, achieved success against all odds, or dedicated themselves to a good cause. Tell us about them.
Courage Award
Awarded to anyone who has shown outstanding bravery which may range from a single heroic act through to battling against disability, illness or adversity. If you know someone who fits the bill, nominate them for this award.
Life-Time Achievement Award
The winner will be selected by a panel of judges and will be a person who has shown an outstanding contribution to the city of Toronto by significantly enhancing the City's reputation or improving the quality of life for its people

7. Submit a 2,000 word essay on why you think this person deserves to be awarded

Achievement Awards
Nominations will only be received from October through July. A panel of judges will choose the winning nominees and contact you regarding the details for receiving your awards or honorary diplomas. A beautifully framed award or diploma will be presented to winning nominees at an official event at ACM. Thank you for participating in our Awards Program.
